Product Warranty

What is covered

• Material defects in the product as supplied.
• Product that does not meet its published specification when used as directed.
• Remedy is replacement of the defective material, or refund of the purchase price at our option.

What is not covered

• Failure caused by inadequate surface preparation, moisture vapor emission, hydrostatic pressure, contamination or unsound concrete.
• Incorrect mixing ratios, incorrect film thickness, application outside temperature or humidity limits, or missed recoat windows.
• Normal wear, scratching, gouging, staining, chemical exposure beyond the product's rating, tire pickup from hot tires on under-cured coatings, and UV ambering on non-UV-stable products.
• Damage from impact, abuse, improper cleaning products or substrate movement and cracking.
• Labor, removal, replacement, downtime or consequential costs.
• Color, gloss and pattern variation, which are inherent to hand-installed resinous systems.

Product warranty vs installation warranty

This is a product warranty from Legends Coatings. Floors installed by Epoxy Legends carry a separate written installation warranty issued with the project documents. Floors installed by other contractors are covered by that contractor's own workmanship warranty.

Making a claim

• Contact us with your order number, product name and batch or lot number from the container label.
• Provide photographs of the condition, the containers and the affected area.
• Describe surface preparation, moisture testing, mix ratios, coverage rates and site conditions at time of application.
• Keep the unused material and packaging until the claim is resolved.

Limitation

This warranty replaces all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the product supplied.
